Please use the prescription counterfoil to make your request as this reduces the risk of confusion about the medication required. If you have more than one repeat prescription please try and order all your items together.
Clearly indicate where you would like the prescription to be sent and either drop it in to reception or post it. We can keep it at the surgery for you to collect or we can post it to you if you leave a stamped addressed envelope or we can send it to a nominated chemist. We have the ability to send your prescriptions electronically to a chemist of your choice, please inform reception if you would like to use this service.
We also accept telephone requests for repeat prescription on between 10:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. Simply ring the normal surgery number 01392 222099 between these time and press option 2. The line can be very busy.
If you use this service it is essential that you have the name(s) of the medication in front of you before you call to ensure that your request can be processed quickly, and reduce the risk of errors being made.
Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. First-time users are required to collect login details from reception. You will need to present a proof of ID on collection. When using this service please DO NOT use the comments box as we can not process requests from this box.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow 48 hours (4 working days if sent direct to a pharmacist) for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
