Telephone Advice: If you think that a doctor or a nurse can deal with your problem over the telephone, the receptionist can arrange for the appropriate person to call you back.
E-Consults: If you think that a doctor can deal with your query, such as sick note or medical advice, you can submit a form here. It also offers a wide selection of self help advice.
Home Visits: For those too ill or physically unable to attend surgery, please call before 10:00am. If you require urgent help for a medical emergency, please tell us as clearly as possible what the problem is. A doctor will normally speak to you to assess the problem, and if necessary he/she will visit as soon as possible.
Disabled access: The site has two disabled parking spaces at the front of the building, these are shared with the other practice and pharmacy so they operate on a first come first served basis.

Enhanced Access Appointments
Since October 2022, all GP practices are now offering enhanced access appointments to their patients through their Primary Care Network (PCN). This means your GP practice may be available for appointments outside of core hours on predetermined days.
These appointments will be bookable in advance, and some may be available same day (subject to capacity). Various health care professionals working within the practices teams will be available during these additional hours, offering a range of services outside core hours.
To provide greater flexibility to patients, you may be booked in for an enhanced access appointment at any of the practices within our PCN. Our PCN, called ‘Nexus’ includes five local GP practices; Mount Pleasant Health Centre, South Lawn Medical Practice, Hill Barton Surgery, The Heavitree Practice & ISCA Medical Centre.
